Synerbio Daily Veg Caps is an expert formulation comprising good gut bacteria (commonly known as probiotics) with added ‘prebiotics’.
The unique Prebiotic FS2-60 offers full-spectrum prebiotic oligosaccharide and plant-derived inulin. FS2-60 is not digested but is utilised by the friendly flora to increase colonisation of Lactobacilli and the Bifidobacteria whilst reducing the foothold of unfriendly species.
The Synerbio Daily range from Viridian Nutrition is available in Powder and Capsule presentations and in two strengths - 1.5 billion viable good bacteria count per capsule and High Strength 20 billion per capsule. Dairy-free.
The human gut is home to an immense population of bacteria. Some 100 trillion bacteria populate the human gut, a number that is 10 times greater than the number of cells in the human body. Because of the sheer size and importance of the gut bacteria, this microbial population can be viewed as a bacterial organ, about the size of your liver and just as important.
There are some 400 species of bacteria in the gut including Bacteroides, Lactobacillus, Clostridium, Fusobacterium, Bifidobacterium, Eubacterium, and Peptostreptococcus. Gut bacteria with identified as suitable ingredients in food supplements include Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species.
It is critical to the maintenance of human health that a balance is preserved between these species.
As a food supplement, take one to three capsules daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
One capsule provides:
|Total viable good bacteria count||1.5 Billion CFU|
Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1
Bifidobacterium breve PBS 077
Bifidobacterium infantis B1 072
Bifidobacterium longum BLG 240
(Guaranteed at time of manufacture)
* Full spectrum prebiotic oligosaccharide and plant-derived inulin
We believe supplements and all wellbeing products should use high quality, effective ingredients. All the products and brands we choose to sell meet our personal standard for quality and contain naturopathic and, where possible, organic ingredients.
The majority of our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, however we do stock high quality, sustainable fish oils, which means our full range is not vegetarian. We clearly identify these in the product listings.
We stock cruelty-free brands whose products and ingredients are never tested on animals.
Choosing Quality Supplements
We always look for high bioavailability, which is a good indicator of the quality and how well a product is absorbed. The higher the bioavailability, the more of your chosen supplement will be absorbed by your body.
All too often we see cheap supplements, which although they may have the required dosage of the active ingredients, they may have a low bioavailability due to being more refined or combined with poor quality additional ingredients to form tablets, or even make them appear more appetising.
Additional ingredients in cheaper supplements are often unnecessary or impact the absorption of the supplement you take, so it is important not only to check the dosage of your chosen active ingredients, but also ensure any other ingredients are good for you, too. It is the additional ingredients that can often contain allergens or make a product non-vegan, for example.
