Vitamin D has a multitude of biological functions in the body which may help support cellular health; it plays a role in cell division, and therefore is necessary for every single cell in the body! Healthy immune function is dependent on adequate vitamin D and even our muscles need vitamin D to function properly. Vitamin D supports the health of bones, and teeth, by influencing the calcium levels within the blood, as well as being involved in the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is the preferred form of supplemental Vitamin D as this is the form produced by the skin in response to sun exposure. An excellent dose of 2000iu of vitamin D3 is provided in each tablet.

There is a growing body of evidence that soy isoflavones may be a useful support for bone, cardiovascular and hormonal health, especially in women.

Soy isoflavones are a popular choice with women approaching or going through the menopause, as for many, they seem to reduce adverse menopausal symptoms, providing a calm transition.

Soy isoflavones work well in combination with vitamin D3. They seem to be protective to bone health, a very important consideration for perimenopausal and menopausal women.
