100% raw Canabidol™ oil containing 500mg CBD (5%), as well as terpenes, phytocannabinoids and essential oils from Cannabis Sativa L. plant buds grown legally in the UK.
Nutrigold's Canabidol™ CBD oil contains 500mg cannabidiol (CBD), an important bioactive component of cannabis plants renowned for revolutionary health promoting properties.
The raw oil is carefully extracted to isolate and remove all the unwanted compounds, including tetrahydrocannabinoid (THC; the psychoactive component of cannabis), whilst maximising levels of CBD, synergistic phytocannabinoids, terpenoids, essential oils and other beneficial compounds found in this specially bred cannabis strain.
Each batch of oil is rigorously and independently tested to ensure maximum quality, purity and CBD potency and to ensure that the THC content is <0.05%, which four times lower than the UK legal limit of 0.2% for THC in CBD (hemp) oil products.
Please note that CBD oil is a food supplement, taken as drops under the tongue, and is not the same as hemp seed oil, which is used in cooking.
1-2 drops daily under the tongue and taken away from food or drink, or as directed by a practitioner. For doses up to 10 drops daily, increase by 1 drop every 2-3 days split into 2 daily doses.
This product is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. CBD may interact with some medicines - so consult with a practitioner or medical professional before use.
Do not exceed 200mg (40 drops) per day.
We believe supplements and all wellbeing products should use high quality, effective ingredients. We aim to sell products and choose brands that meet our personal standard for quality and ideally contain naturopathic and, where possible, organic ingredients.
The majority of our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, however we do stock some products like fish oils, etc. which means our full range is not vegetarian. We clearly identify these in the product listings.
Choosing Quality Supplements
We always look for products containing very high quality ingredients with good bioavailability (how well a product is utilised by the body).
All too often we see cheap supplements, which although they may have the required dosage of the active ingredients in terms of numbers listed, they may have a low bioavailability due to being more refined or combined with poor quality additional ingredients to form tablets, or even make them appear more appetising.
Additional ingredients in cheaper supplements are often unnecessary or impact the absorption of the supplement you take, so it is important not only to check the dosage of your chosen active ingredients, but also ensure any other ingredients are good for you, too. It is the additional ingredients that can often contain allergens or make a product non-vegan, for example.
